Proceeds from this year’s event benefit a number of charitable initiatives supported by the Howard County Police Foundation. These initiatives include a college scholarship program to support officers pursuing continued education. The Foundation also offers two annual educational scholarships, one for a Howard County High School senior, and one for the child of a Howard County police officer who is a senior in high school. The Foundation also supports the Department in funding needs not met within the annual budget.
